LEF is an Essex based non-profit helping children in the UK and its poorest regions of Europe

Youth Development project

The Little Edi Foundation is an Essex based non-profit where children and young people are at the heart of the organisation. We believe all children should have equal access to education and learning development, enabling them to reach their full potential. To achieve this, we focus on creating development opportunities for disadvantaged young people from local areas by offering grants to volunteer overseas in Europe’s poorest country, Moldova.

THE BENEFITS

By supporting our educational community-based projects in Moldova, our students of the UK Youth Development Project have benefited from improved relationships with peers and adults, improved behaviour and management of emotions, and increase in their self-esteem. We believe by providing them the opportunity to “give back”, they have developed key skills that prepare them for the working world.
