Our oversEAS PROJECTS
The Little Edi Foundation are committed to helping children in the UK and also the poorest countries on Eastern Europe. We have in previous years given support and aid to communities in Northern and Southern Romania, we are currently working on projects in Europes poorest counrty Moldova. We have teamed up with a Moldovan charity called Mad Aid to helping reach the most vulnerable children and families across Moldova.
THE SHOEBOX PROJECT
Every Christmas a team of trustees and Volunteers hand deliver 1800 shoeboxes full of toys, toiletries and educational equipment. These are personally delivered to the most vulnerable children and families across Moldova, children who would otherwise receive very little and sometimes nothing. The Education Project
The Little Edi Foundation is committed to helping the children in the poor rural communities of Moldova have a better and prosperous future. We think the best way to do this is through education, cut the cycle of poverty. Unfortunately these community schools are under funded and the children can only attend if they have their own stationery and in some they have to provide their own lunch. We locate children who are being kept from school for these reasons and do what we can to get them back into education.
